I visited Le Petit Journal St. Michel with my friend Pascal when we went out looking for live jazz that evening. After consulting the LYLO (Paris' live music guide) we decided to check out the "Tribute to Duke Ellington" show at Petit Journal. When we descended down the stairs into the lower restaurant area, I knew I was in for a treat.
