My family would agree...
...At least my mother & grandmother raved over the springs here. I can't remember being there; I guess I was too young. Unfortunately for me I always think of the wartime puppet regime :-( - , posted 12/15/08

the most unusual mineral water!
remeber the movie "Cocoon" where the elderly go swimming and come out younger? No joke, that is what I experienced!

" Vichy Celestins is a fascinating monument to mineral water which dates back to Julius Caesar, who built a health resort there over 2,000 years ago. The Hall des Sources captures the elegant world of Napoleon III, when he and his entourage of several hundred thousand would make Vichy their summer watering grounds.
The famous Vichy Spa is supplied by 12 springs. Vichy water has been used for the stomach, biliary secretions, allergies and colitis. Thermal baths, thermal showers, mud therapy, steam baths, facials, thermal gas inhalation and whirlpools are some of the treatments used at Vichy." - E.S.S. , posted 06/16/05
