With the gypsy group Romaroma (ex. Romafest) from Cluj (Transylvania, Romania)

Workshop with live musicians with the roma artists who will come all the way from Transylvania for the occasion !

Paris, November 7th and 8th, 2009

The famous romanian impressive dance with fast steps, snaps, clapping hands and feet (for which the Romaroma are the number one in Europe www.youtube.com/watch or the manela with the oriental infuences (that you might have discovered in the fim "Gadjo dilo"www.youtube.com/watch both will be taught by this group that does not need to be introduced anymore! Best known under the former name of Roma Fest, this music and dance group shows on stages all around the world what is the best and the most authentic of the romani dance and music from Central Europe. They will be four to share with us some of their culture in an extraordinary joy : a male dancer, a female dancer, a violonist and an accordeonist. Here is a great opportunity to meet those extraordinary performers outside the stage and for the first time in an workshop!

Price : 65 euros for one day/ 120 euros for both days

Schedule : Saturday 4pm to 7pm, Sunday 3pm to 6pm
What to bring : for men, confortable trousers and shoes, for women confortable trousers, a large skirt (that you can remove) and the caracter dance shoes or other shoes with a large high heals
